The group is now launching its TakealotMore MVP Days, an exclusive five-day sales event across Takealot and Mr D from the 25th to 29th of July.
After running a similar campaign in 2024, Takealot said that discounts should not only reserved for Black Friday.
The promotion period will feature discounts and bonus coupons for TakealotMore members only. Shoppers are encouraged to try a one-month free trial to unlock exclusive access.
Those who choose to pay the R99 per month option will also get a free News24 subscription that is valued at R109 per month.
Both Takealot and News24 are owned by South Africa’s most valuable company, Naspers.

The group said the sales event will run for five days starting on 25 July.
