South African media personality Lawrence Maleka recently shared photos of himself rubbing shoulders with American actor and film producer Tom Cruise, as well as Indian actress Avneet Kaur.
Maleka met the Hollywood superstar and lead actor of the Mission: Impossible franchise at the London premiere of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
He also snapped a red carpet photo with Almost Single star Kaur, who was also in attendance.
“Had to be there for Ethan Hunt’s final mission,” Maleka wrote, captioning the pictures on Instagram.
The eighth instalment of Mission: Impossible franchise is set to premiere on 23 May in cinemas in the United States.
Parts of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning were filmed in Limpopo, Hoedspruit, back in 2022.
Cruise has been sharing behind-the-scenes footage of his stunts on social media, including a freefall jump from a helicopter at 3 000 metres (10 000 feet).
In one of the clips, he is seen jumping out of a helicopter high above a mountain range with a camera strapped to his torso.

Meanwhile, Maleka is set to return as the host of Friends of Amstel Season 2.
The award-winning TV host said he is thrilled to be back for the new season.
“We’ve gone bigger on everything this season: the games, the guests, the surprises. It’s fun, it’s chaotic, and it’s got some real magic. I can’t wait for viewers to see what’s in store,” Maleka said in a press statement.
Season 2 promises even more energy and a fire line-up that includes celebrities like Nasty C, Mr JazziQ, DJ Tira, Makhadzi, Mawhoo, and Khuli Chana – just to name a few.
