Skubu refill store debuts in South Africa, slashing plastic waste and costs

Reportedly South Africa’s first-of-a-kind refill store, Skubu, with the aim to reduce single-use plastic packaging, has officially launched in Diepsloot, Johannesburg, by Sonke in collaboration with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the Department of Science, Technology, and Innovation (DSTI), under the Circular Economy Demonstration Fund.
